Rosemont Center holds three main fundraising events a year.

Black Dog Event is an annual sporting clay event which takes place at Black Dog Farms.  Rosemont Center will celebrate it's 10th anniversary of this wonderful event in 2010. The cost for this event is $500.00 per individual shooter.  There are two team options, a four person or five person team.  For more information about this event please email

Rides from Rosemont is a program that selects children in need from Columbus and the surrounding areas and provides them with a new bicycle from Huffy Bicycle Company, locks from the Bell Company, fitted helmets supplied by Pro-Rider, and a new book from Dorling Kindersley Publishing.  We believe that providing children with this gift teaches responsibility, builds self-esteem, teaches a sense of ownership and helps exercise the mind and the body.  These skills are necessary lessons in helping our children grow to become successful adults.

But, we need your help to make this event a success! We invite you to help us turn young lives around in your community. Here's how you can make a difference:

  • Sponsor a child for a new bicycle, helmet, lock and rules of the road information. Our goal is to give away 225 bicycles this year.  To support one child the cost is $62.00!!
  • Volunteer your time to help assemble Huffy Bicycles on Saturday April24, 2010.
  • Volunteer to help distribute the bicycles to the children May  22, 2010 at Rosemont.

Home for the Holidays is a holiday event at the beginning of December.  This event is celebrated in a personal home of a member of our community who supports Rosemont Center.   This person graciously opens their doors for a Sunday brunch which helps Rosemont Center spread awareness about our programs and services and raises dollars for those children who would otherwise not be able to pay for our services.  Rosemont Center turns no child away.  This is a ticketed event.
